A HOME FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS

A Home for Future Generations is a collaborative public art project by Raquel Fornasaro and Julia Csekö that transforms two house-shaped installations into vibrant spaces for climate education and community engagement. Commissioned by the Town of Natick and the City of Framingham through the Mass Save Community Education Grant, the project features interior murals inspired by drawings from local elementary school students and exterior mosaics composed of hundreds of hand-painted wooden shingles created during more than 30 community workshops. Together, the installations celebrate the collective power of small actions to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions, while inspiring communities to imagine healthier, more sustainable homes for generations to come.
